Statement of candidacy

Preserve what matters.
Plan for what's next.

Thoughtful leadership begins with listening—and follows through with careful, informed decisions.

I have proudly called Los Altos Hills home for the past 22 years, where my husband and I have raised our two children. Serving as Chair of the Parks and Recreation and Community Events Committee has deepened my appreciation for the values that make our town such a special place to live. I treasure the unique character of Los Altos Hills—its open space, scenic pathways, and strong volunteers in the community. As a physician specializing in neuro-hospital medicine, I have built my career on listening carefully, evaluating information thoughtfully, and making decisions with integrity and compassion.

I am running for Town Council to help preserve the unique character of Los Altos Hills while planning responsibly for its future. I am committed to maintaining our rural environment, protecting our beautiful network of pathways, and prioritizing neighborhood safety. I also believe in fostering opportunities for residents to connect through activities that promote health, wellness, and a strong sense of community.

I will be a thoughtful, accessible, and dedicated voice for our residents. I believe effective leadership begins with listening, and I will work hard to ensure every perspective is heard. By doing my homework, asking thoughtful questions, and making informed decisions, I will always put the long-term interests of our community first. I would be honored to earn your support and the opportunity to serve Los Altos Hills.

01

Housing

Navigate housing requirements thoughtfully while preserving our semi-rural character, open spaces, pathways, and meaningful resident participation.

02

Fiscal responsibility

Practice transparent, careful stewardship of Town resources and weigh both immediate needs and long-term consequences.

03

Community events

Create more welcoming opportunities for neighbors, families, and residents of every age to connect and belong.

04

Safety & wildfire preparedness

Keep public safety a high priority with practical preparedness, strong coordination, and clear communication for our neighborhoods.

The commitment

A Town government that works for the entire community.

Do the homework. Learn quickly. Listen respectfully. Consider different perspectives. Make thoughtful decisions.
